MCG cleaners now offered award condition jobs, says United Voice

According to a recent post on the United Voice’s website, ‘The MCC (Melbourne Cricket Club) has reminded ISS of their obligations under the current contract and we (United Voice) have advised that ISS must ensure that all of their employment obligations are met.

ISS investigating UV claims regarding MCG site sub-contractor

Prompted by a statement (12 September) by United Voice (UV) that ‘Contractors working at the Melbourne Cricket Ground are systematically cheating cleaners by paying them up to $16 an hour less than their legal pay and insisting they complete unpaid work’, prime contractor ISS is investigating the Union’s claims.
