The ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo is on track to sell out this year, with more than 70 per cent of exhibitor space already sold.
Run in partnership with ISSA and Interpoint Events, the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo is the leading commercial cleaning trade in Australia. This year’s event will take place on 23-24 October 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
Last year’s show reported a 31 per cent increase in attendance compared to 2017, drawing visitors from 16 countries, with 80 per cent of delegates responsible for making or influencing purchasing decisions. Countries represented included Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Netherlands, Germany and China.
Attendees included building service contractors, commercial and industrial contract cleaners, carpet restorers, facility and building managers, manufacturers, purchasing officers, cleaning retailers and suppliers, government and education facility representatives, hospital, health care and aged care representatives, hotel management, retail, window cleaners, and domestic cleaners.
This year, the event will be co-located with Waste Expo Australia. Education seminars and training workshops will also be on offer at the ISSA Speaker Theatre and SRCP (Specialised Restoration & Cleaning Professionals) Speaker Theatre.
The ISSA Speaker Theatre will focus on the general cleaning, health, and sanitation industry, while the SRCP Speaker Theatre will centre on carpet care, remediation and restoration. A dedicated ISSA Carpet and Restoration Wing will also be featured.
