The international cleaning services market will reach US$276 billion by 2028, up from $168.3 billion in 2023, a compound annual grown rate (CAGR) of 6.5 per cent, according to projections in a report from SkyQuest Technology Consulting Pvt. Ltd.
The global market research firm’s report predicted the growth to be led by rising consumer concerns for sustainability, workplace hygiene, and employee well-being as well as an increase in both residential and commercial building construction.
According to SkyQuest’s report, the rising demand will lead to 5 per cent year-on-year employment annually.
The commercial cleaning segment is expected to experience the fastest growth rate, reaching a 58 per cent market share by 2028.
Geographically, Europe and Asia Pacific are predicted to grow at the highest rates from 2022 to 2028, with respective CAGRs of 8.1 per cent and 7.4 per cent.
