BSCAA and EMA conduct IR seminarsThe Building Service Contractors Association of Australia Inc (BSCAA) has, as a result of funding from the Fair Work Ombudsman’s Shared Industry Assistance Project, produced a number of Information Sheets on various provisions contained in the Cleaning Services Award 2010 (Cleaning Award).

Information Sheets on the operation and application of the Annual Leave; Breaks; Change of Contract; Classification Translation; Consultation; Coverage; Division 2B Employers (New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania); Employment Categories; Hours of Work; Penalty Rates; Savings and Transitional Provisions; Termination of Employment/Redundancy and Wages and Allowances provisions from the Cleaning Award have all been produced.

In addition, BSCAA and the Fair Work Liaison Officer – EMA Consulting are conducting a number of Educational Seminars on the Cleaning Award.

The BSCAA Education Seminars and the Information Sheets are available free of charge and are available to all contract cleaning companies, irrespective of whether the company is a member of BSCAA or not.

  1. Please keep me informed or subscribed to any and all free seminars on the Cleaning Award and related topics. I hope it is simple and can be understood better than the complicated and difficult advices that are found in the Award document and the ATO explanations as well.
