ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, has announced a new alliance with Federación Nacional de Empresas de Aseo y Afines (FENASEO), a non-profit organisation promoting cooperation and growth for building service contractors (BSCs) and related industries in Colombia.

Beginning on May 1, FENASEO’s BSC members will become ISSA members for the following year.

“FENASEO and ISSA share a commitment to supporting our member companies through providing resources and opportunities for growth,” said María del Pilar Rodríguez, FENASEO executive director.

“Through this partnership, our members will have access to ISSA’s extensive member benefits including education, events, and a wealth of industry knowledge.”

FENASEO provides various programs to support the professional development of its membership. The organisation also collaborates with Colombian government authorities to shape industry-specific regulations and foster compliance among member companies.

The partnership will include mutual promotion of the associations, trade shows, and virtual events to FENASEO and ISSA members.

Additionally, the associations will collaborate to develop new training courses and promote professional cleaning to wider audiences.

“Advancing cleaning knowledge and education worldwide through strategic partnerships benefits ISSA, our partners, and our entire membership,” said ISSA membership and outreach director, Mikel Gabrielson.

“We look forward to a successful partnership that will foster deeper collaboration between ISSA and the LATAM cleaning community for years to come.”
