Ecolab Inc. has reported third-quarter net sales of US$3.66 billion, a rise of 10% from $3.32 billion a year ago.
Ecolab’s third-quarter profit increased to $347.1 million, or $1.21 per share, up from $324.5 million, or $1.12 a share, in the same quarter a year earlier.
Sales in the company’s global institutional and specialty division climbed 12 per cent to $1.18 billion, while its global industrial division boosted sales 16 per cent to $1.81 billion.
Ecolab’s global health care and life sciences division saw sales jump 34 per cent from $279.7 million to $375.5 million in the third quarter of 2022.
