Diversey has appointed Philip R. Wieland as ongoing CEO.
Wieland was named interim CEO in January, succeeding Mark S. Burgess, who resigned to take another executive position.
He has also served as a member of the board of directors since January 2020, and was previously chief financial officer
Wieland said the progress Diversey is making is exciting.
“We have added critical products to our portfolio and expanded our operations to better serve our key markets, and I am thrilled by the opportunity to lead the business on an ongoing basis,” said Wieland.
“We remain focused on serving the needs of our customers with better solutions and products that will help them win in the marketplace.”
Diversey is a global provider of commercial cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene solutions. The company employs approximately 8,700 people globally, generating annual net sales of approximately $2.7 billion.
