The Workplace Health & Safety Show launches New Cleaning & Hygiene Zone
The COVID-19 pandemic taught us that workplace hygiene isn’t just about wiping down the workstations and sanitising the office now and then – it has a much bigger impact on the Australian economy. A 2022 study estimated that workplace absenteeism due to sick leave cost the national economy $24 billion last year.
Workplace cleaning and hygiene is not only critical in ensuring employee wellbeing – it’s also about maintaining productivity.
Noting these far-reaching implications, the Workplace Health & Safety Show (WHSS) has announced the launch of the Cleaning & Hygiene Zone – a dedicated precinct within the Show, focused entirely on workplace hygiene and cleaning products. This is a great opportunity for Australia’s cleaning and hygiene companies to exhibit their products and solutions, and help Australia’s workplaces meet their health and safety obligations.
