In what was another successful event, the Professional Housekeepers Association of New South Wales (PHAN) held its annual Tradeshow at Sydney’s Radisson Blu Hotel on 12 August 2013.

In welcoming attendees, PHAN president Maureen Jolowicz thanked suppliers for their support and emphasised that it was important for member housekeepers to, in turn, support their suppliers.

It meant all exhibitors had a focused audience to learn about their product and services’ features and benefits.

The Tradeshow was also a great opportunity for members to network. Professional Executive Housekeeper Network’s (PEHN) Marian Stratford and South East Queensland’s Professional Housekeepers Association’s (SEQPHA) Melissa Bent both attended, reflecting the interstate support the housekeeper bodies give each other.

The next PHAN event is a party for all the housekeeper fraternity to celebrate International Housekeeping Week. The ‘upmarket’ function will be held at the Menzies Hotel on 20 September 2013… more information to follow.
