Lennox Institute, in conjunction with the CPSISC, is busy conducting cleaning industry diploma in management courses. ‘Equating’  to level 5 training, they have been extremely well received by building service contractor companies, which in turn are signing up significant numbers of appropriately selected staff members.

The management students attend face-to-face training one day per calendar month for a year, complemented with project portfolio and case study work. These diploma courses are a first for the Australian cleaning industry.

In early March, INCLEAN spent time with a Diploma in Management for Women group at the North Ryde RSL, Sydney.

Conducting the course were Lennox facilitators Paul Morrall and Robyn McAuley. While Morrall concentrated on management and leadership topics, McAuley addressed communications, customer service and performance management. Also on hand was Ron Jeffs, representing the Construction, Property Services Industry Skills Council.
