RapidClean has launched a new e-commerce platform RapidGreen, for environmentally friendly cleaning, packaging and catering supplies.
RapidClean marketing manager Jade Hiatt Kruusmagi told INCLEAN the aim of the website is to make it easier for customers to find fully-accredited and certified environmentally friendly products.
“A lot of people try to do the right thing, but sometimes it can be overwhelming looking for a certain product on a website when there’s thousands of products featured. We decided to create a separate website to make it easier for customers to find products that are 100 per cent environmentally friendly.”
The website features products that hold third party environmental certifications including GECA, FSC, Recognised or PEFC. All certificates are linked to the products as proof that they are fully endorsed.
“We will not allow a product on the RapidGreen website until all of our environmental conditions are met,” Hiatt Kruusmagi said.
Website categories include cleaning accessories, chemicals, packaging and catering supplies, paper products and personal care products. In addition to RapidClean branded products, listed suppliers include BioPak, EnviroStar, Alpen Products, Duni, Ecolab, Oates.
Hiatt Kruusmagi expects more categories to be added to the website from preferred supplies. There are also plans for a dedicated New Zealand RapidGreen website, which is slated to launch in the coming months.
As part of its focus on sustainability and conservation RapidClean will soon also become a sponsor of the endangered Australian Corroboree frog.
