Reinforcing its already strong management team, Nilfisk Australia has recruited Quintus Strydom as business unit leader for its professional business. An executive with a wealth of B2B marketing and sales experience, Mr Strydom most recently held a senior management role with Tennant Australia and New Zealand.

“Quintus’ role as business unit leader will involve him leading our direct and indirect teams in nurturing the existing customer base as well as driving new business,” stated Nilfisk Australia and New Zealand managing director Markus Haefeli.

“Quintus will also help identify and implement improvements in the business unit’s operating efficiency,” added Mr Haefeli.

An executive who has worked in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia, Mr Strydom has experience in a number of industries including automotive, brewing, refrigeration and, of course, commercial and industrial cleaning.

He complements his various sales and marketing positions with a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing Management and an MBA from the University of Hull (UK).

“I am excited by the opportunity I have been offered at Nilfisk and I am looking forward to the challenge that we have ahead of us,” said Mr Strydom.

“The professional cleaning machine market is ever-changing and evolving. Nilfisk is an organisation that invests heavily in research and development in order that it goes to market with leading edge technology,” he added.
