Always a keenly anticipated facet of Pulire, entries are now being called for Innovation Award Pulire 2013. The awards, open only to Pulire exhibitors, are designed ‘to enhance the research and innovation carried out by companies operating in the specific market’.

Pulire 2013 will take place in Verona, Italy, from 21 to 23 May 2013. Located in Europe’s cleaning equipment design and manufacturing heart, this event is one of our industry’s most significant.

The innovation awards recognise ‘the projects that will have proved to increase competitiveness, improve profitability, improve performance and safety, reduce time and cost, (and) comply with the requirements of environmental sustainability.’

Three categories will be awarded: machinery, equipment and chemicals. Products and services will be submitted to a panel of experts who will decide nine finalists, three in each category.

These will then be submitted to Italian and foreign specialised press, which will award the ‘Technical Press Award Pulire 2013’ to the winner of each section. The event’s visiting industry executives will decide, by voting, the winner of the trophy ‘Innovation Award Pulire 2013’.

The selected projects must have been introduced to the market only after 1 January 2013 and not have been presented or participated in any other related trade exhibitions in form of product, representation or models.

The number of visitors to Pulire, which this year reaches its 20th year, has risen steadily, surpassing the 10,000 ‘unique’ participants in 2011.

The deadline for submitting the requested Innovation Award documentation is 16 April 2013.
