Yesterday members of the world cleaning industry media judged each of three categories of three short-listed products to arrive at category winners while the Pulire visitors voted for the ultimate Innovation Award winner. The media and the general cleaning industry visitors were very much (amazingly?) in agreement. The IPC Hydrotube was selected by both the media and the visitors.
Machine category: AR-CO Gynius Box
A unit whereby managers can program to a keypad or via the net site specifications and appropriate chemical dispensing. That means supervisors and cleaners will use only the correct volume of chemical and water for application by cloths and mops.
Short-listed were the Macro compact auto scrubber and Klindex grinder polisher sander.
Tools category: IPC Hydrotube (Greentube)
A pure water cleaning system delivered in a compact, lightweight unit. In essence, it offers all the features and benefits of much larger units but at half the price.
This product was also the clear winner of the Innovation Award as judged by Pulire visitors.
Short-listed were the Unger ErgoTec Ninja squeegee and Polti Steam and Walk strap on steam cleaner.
Chemical category: Genesis Bioscience’s Biosan e Card
A simple strip of cardboard, has been impregnated with biocidal compounds, disinfects sanitary waste units. The anti-microbial strip can be used in practically all units and delivers a slow release of active ingredients.
Short-listed were Diversey’s SmartDose dispensing system and Bendis’s Decontaminator drain cleaner deodoriser
Special mention was made of Macro, a very small ride-on auto scrubber that features an innovative dosing system and standard HEPA filter. It’s length is certainly no more (and maybe less) than a small walk-behind.
