Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Lennox Institute announced on Friday 13 September that Paul Morrall, currently Lennox’s general manager in sales and marketing, will be moving into the newly created position of general manager for m-Learning – a cloud-based education and mobile learning approach to training.
Morrall has more than 20 years’ experience in learning and development, business improvement and instructional design, and joined Lennox Institute in March 2009 as a leadership and management trainer.
‘In making the announcement Lennox Institute CEO Elaine Torode acknowledged that changes in funding and meeting client needs has put extreme pressure on the traditional approach to training and how it is delivered’, stated the press release, hence the move towards a more sustained and strategic approach.
“Paul brings a unique combination of deep industry knowledge and client focus to this new position,” Torode commented. “Paul has been heavily involved in leading edge educational technology for many years, his experience in delivering ‘rapid eLearning’ programs globally brings a lot of value to the position and his passion in this area has seen him deliver some remarkable results for his clients”.
“The Board has decided that Paul is the right person to lead Lennox Institute’s ‘cloud-based learning’ strategy in this changing environment,” said Torode.
Morrall said he was honoured by the appointment and jumped at the opportunity. “It is a privilege to be asked to lead one of the industry’s great training companies in one of the most exciting areas of our business. I look forward to working closely with the senior management team in continuing the focus on our strategy of delivering client specific services that yield rapid results”.
Morrall will be based at Lennox Institute’s headquarters in Sydney (NSW).
