Co-hosted by the Green Building Council of Australia and the Property Council of Australia, Green Cities 2012 Conference and Expo will bring together the best and brightest green building professionals, industry 
experts, suppliers and manufacturers for three days of green building conversation, innovation and collaboration.
Green Cities 2012 will be held 4 to 7 March 2012 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Submissions should address conference streams that are:
The new platform for innovation and inspiration: ‘We invite all the bright sparks out there to share your big ideas and inspire delegates with new and innovative solutions to the built environment’s most pressing issues.’
Debate: ‘We’re seeking to ruffle a few feathers by tackling a polarising topic that provokes delegates to rethink their position on a prominent issue and consider the other side of the story. Last year it was nuclear power – what do you want to see thrashed out at Green Cities 2012?’
Spotlight: ‘Time to focus on the unique challenges and opportunities of specific sectors and international markets. Preference will be given to case studies that highlight environmentally sustainable design, construction and operational performance.’
Submissions are being sought in the following areas: residential, retail, industrial, education, international spotlight – Asia and international spotlight – Europe.
The Green Cities 2012 call for proposals closes at COB Friday 16 September 2011, after which successful applicants will be invited to submit further information and/or attend an interview.
