Essity praised for sustainability performance

Hygiene and health company, Essity, has received a Platinum medal from EcoVadis, placing it in the top one percent of businesses assessed by the sustainability rating company.

Hygiene and health company, Essity, has received a Platinum medal from EcoVadis, placing it in the top one percent of businesses assessed by the sustainability rating company.

Essity earned 78 out of a possible 100 points in this year’s rating, placing it in the 99th percentile of companies assessed. This is the third time since 2020 that the company has received this Platinum medal status.

This year’s index is based on the sustainability performance data derived from more than 62,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis between 2018 and 2022 across four theme: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

We are proud to receive the Platinum EcoVadis medal once again since it recognises this commitment,” said Magnus Groth, President and CEO of Essity.
