Dominic Drumm, director of Westferry Property Services Ltd, has been elected national president of the Building Service Contractors of New Zealand (BSCNZ) for 2015/16. Mike Mulholland, general manager, HR & Compliance for City Cleaning Services Ltd, has been elected national vice president.
After graduating from Auckland University, Drumm started his career in banking and finance in New Zealand. He then moved into the pharmaceutical industry in sales and marketing roles before travelling to Europe.
He spent seven years in London working in finance and IT roles, before returning home with his family to enjoy the New Zealand lifestyle while running his online brokerage business.
After consideration of many sectors, he set up his own company in the commercial cleaning industry in 2007. His business has been a member of the BSCNZ from its inception and he believes that a strong industry body benefits all participants in New Zealand.
He has been a member of the national council for the past three years and was vice president of the Auckland committee last year. He took over the role of acting president for Auckland when former president, the late Peter Blaas, was taken ill. He has been elected as Auckland president for 2015/16 and had also been acting president of the national council since 1 March.
Mulholland began his career at ACC and spent 12 years with ISS New Zealand, where he was national HR manager, before joining City Cleaning in 2011. He is also a member of the Auckland committee.
