With significant research and development having taken place at Amano Pioneer Eclipse’s Sparta US headquarters, Eclipse Floor Solutions (EFS) is upbeat about its 2011 sales and marketshare prospects.  “We finished 2010 with strong across-the-board sales and with new products in the pipeline – this will be a strong year for our distributors,” stated EFS principal Alan Selcuk.
Eclipse upbeat about 2011
Recognising the need for a comprehensive hard floor machine offering, Amano Pioneer Eclipse has partnered with a leading European manufacturer so that a strong range of battery automatic scrubber/driers complements the market leading propane burnishers and strippers.
The Amano Pioneer Eclipse scrubber/driers are exclusive to that company and will come with features exclusive to Amano Pioneer Eclipse. Some models were debuted at 2010 ISSA/Interclean North America.
On the propane burnisher front, Amano Pioneer Eclipse is progressively introducing the latest Kawasaki 18 hp engines into all its models including the Mean Machines, Hammerhead and Barracuda stripper.
“These engines are proving to be a real advance. Not only are they boosting already excellent productivity levels, they are more fuel efficient and operate with reduced emissions,” Selcuk noted.
“I should point out that our ever increasing burnisher sales in Australia is predicated on the market recognising Amano Pioneer Eclipse’s superior engineering and design. “They are easy to operate and are robust, problem-free machines.”
Selcuk explained that Amano Pioneer Eclipse has re-focused heavily on its chemical floorcare ranges and, with ongoing R & D, the local market will see major improvements.
He cited the recently released cold formula Formula X-Treme Stripper that dilutes 20:1 for heavy use, 30:1 for medium and 40:1 for light use. One carton of Formula X-Treme is the equivalent of five cartons of the previous formula. “About 20 litres of the new formula will strip a 21000 sq m floor,” enthused Selcuk.
His immediate operational priorities are to ensure that stock levels can cope with demand and to strengthen the Eclipse Floor Solutions’ dealer network. “We know we can offer the very best hard floor maintenance systems with an appropriate integration of the right machines and right chemicals.
Achieving the very best productivity levels without compromising quality is Amano Pioneer Eclipse’s ethos and we reflect that same ambition here in the Australian market.
