The South East Queensland Executive Housekeepers Association’s (SEQPHA) annual trade day proved a success with a strong attendance of interested executive housekeepers rewarding supplier exhibitors for their investment.
Held at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Gold Coast (Qld) on 28 August, the trade day involved some 30 exhibitors and more than 70 executive housekeepers.
“The quality of the exhibitors’ stands was fantastic, there was a great atmosphere
and I believe exhibitors received excellent value for their investment, based on the feedback we have received,” said committee person Hayley Brownrigg.
The exhibitors covered a very wide range of products and services including linen, bedding, furniture, cleaning and hygiene, fittings, uniforms, training and hotel room consumables.
The SEQPHA is a very active organisation, its most recent event being a monthly breakfast meeting held mid-September at the Grand Chancellor, Gold Coast.
These meetings are attended by executive housekeeper members as well as suppliers. They raise money for charity – Ronald McDonald House, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Leukemia patients – and are excellent networking opportunities.
