Oceania and Asia-Pacific are punching well above their weight on the global stage, with four of just nine international finalists in the ISSA Spotless Spaces International Competition hailing from our region, making this a landmark moment for the Australasian cleaning and facilities management industry.
The Spotless Spaces competition, run as part of International Cleaning Week ( 22–28 March 2026), recognises the very best in cleaning excellence worldwide. Open exclusively to ISSA members, it celebrates facilities and teams that demonstrate outstanding standards in cleanliness, sustainability and operational leadership.
“This is a significant moment for our region on the global stage,” ISSA account manager Alicia Morgan says. “Let’s get behind our finalists, amplify their achievements and show the strength of our industry community.”
Our four finalists, each representing the innovation and professionalism that defines the best of our industry, are:
- AIC Steppe Arena, Urban Link LLC – Mongolia
- Kildare Catholic College, Charles Sturt Campus Services – Wagga Wagga, Australia
- PPP WA Schools, Downer Group – Western Australia, Australia, and
- Sentrax Global Academy (SGA), Harta Maintenance SDN BHD – Malaysia.
The competition has now entered its public voting phase – and here’s where the wider industry comes in. Voting is open to absolutely everyone: clients, colleagues, industry peers, friends, family and social media followers.
Every vote counts, and voting closes at 4:00pm AEST, Saturday 7 March 2026
