The concrete polishing industry continues to grow significantly and now an ideal opportunity to train and become educated in this segment is being offered. Regarded as a leader in its field, the next IBS ‘Professional Concrete Course’ will take place in Sydney, 21 to 23 August 2013.
It will be conducted by IBS principal and trainer Ivan Imerman, a specialist in construction and concrete for nearly 40 years.
IBS has successfully trained some 200 polished concrete professionals, from regions as diverse as Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
To be the 25th such training course, the ‘Professional Concrete Course’ is 80 percent hands on, working in groups, and comprehensive notes are issued.
To be held on 21, 22 and 23 August 2013 in Mascot (Sydney), the three-days of education is open to anyone, regardless of experience.
Day One, 9am to 5.30pm: Concrete cutting, grouting and floor repair.
Learn how to cut flat level floors, how to cut edges and how to grout and repair cracks using the innovative Starseal Fusion system.
Day Two, 7.30am to 5pm: Concrete densification.
Learn how to harden, grout and stain-proof concrete floors using the FSR system.
Day Three, 8am to 5pm: Food stain resistance and non-slip finishing.
Imerman will demonstrate how to finish surfaces, apply impregnated sealers and use the Tough Grip R11 + W non-slip solutions.
The training cost of $1000.00 per person includes a light breakfast and lunch every day, as well as a group dinner and refreshments one evening.
