Singapore’s National Environment Agency is organising the Clean Environment Convention (CEC) – Cleaning Track on 3 and 4 June 2014 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. This event is part of the Clean Enviro Summit Singapore (CESS) 2014, which will held from 1 to 4 June 2014, in conjunction with the 4th World Cities Summit (WCS) and the 6th Singapore International Water Week (SIWW).
Key highlights of CESS 2014 include Clean Environment Leaders Summit; Clean Environment Regulators Roundtable; Clean Environment Convention (CEC); and partner events like WasteMET Asia and CleanMET Asia Exhibitions, which showcase the latest innovations and technologies in the waste management and cleaning solutions.

Clean Environment Convention (CEC) – Cleaning Track
Themed ‘Sustaining the Future of Cleaning’, the Clean Environment Convention (CEC) – Cleaning Track, brings together international and regional speakers who will share useful insights and best practices on practical approaches as well as innovative technological solutions for clean cities.
The CEC will kick start with a joint opening plenary on Best Practices of Clean Cities, with a keynote address by Singapore’s second Minister of Environment and Water Resources, Grace Fu.
This will be followed by five technical conference sessions:
*Session 1: Win-Win-Win Partnerships
*Session 2: Technology, a force multiplier – why, what and how
*Session 3: From Design to Maintenance – Creating Future Sustainable Buildings
*Session 4: How Clean IS Clean?
*Session 5: SMART Cleaning Workforce in a Growing Affluent Society
Speakers include government officials and industry experts from the USA, Europe (ie. Germany, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Italy), Australia and Asia (Japan, India, Singapore). Participants will also have the opportunity to interact and network with speakers and other international and regional participants over the two day conference.
Participants can also take the opportunity to visit the Cleaning Management and Environmental Technology Exhibition, called CleanMet Asia. It will showcase the latest industrial and commercial cleaning solutions.
