SCRIA_Meetings_CarpetThe Specialised Cleaning and Restoration Industry Association’s (SCRIA) annual general meeting, which will be hosted by Ausclean PULIRE, Rosehill (Sydney), will be held Tuesday 15 October.

All interested service providers are welcome to attend in order to learn more about what SCRIA offers its members as well as what events the Association has planned for 2013/2014.

A registered trade association, SCRIA is an independent not-for-profit trade association representing the interests of all professionals involved in specialised cleaning and restoration services.

“Our aim is to continually improve the level of professionalism, training, education and ongoing technical development of the industry while providing the consumer with the sound knowledge that employing the services of a SCRIA member represents quality and professionalism,” explained SCRIA’S president Gary Bourke.

“SCRIA members benefit from having access to a network of like-minded businesses ready to help out fellow members; being involved to help shape the industry and drive it into the future; and being at the cutting edge of industry news and one step ahead of your competitor,” he added.

SCRIA recently applied for Government Funded Training for its members and their staff. SCRIA wants to ensure its members can take advantage of this excellent opportunity for their own professional development and advancement in the industry.

SCRIA regularly holds state meetings and networking events, giving its members the opportunity to meet other local industry professionals, obtain industry updates, and of course, socialise.

If you are interested in becoming a SCRIA member, or if you want to find out more about what is going on in your local area, please contact the SCRIA secretariat at info@scria.org.au
