ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, has announced that registrations are open for the 2024 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo.
Taking place on 11-12 September at the International Convention Centre Sydney, this major event is the highlight of the calendar for Australasia’s cleaning and facility solutions industry.
Thousands of cleaning and facility solutions professionals from Australasia and across the globe will gather for two full days of information sharing, relationship building and innovation. More than 2,000 professionals from more than 20 countries are expected to attend, representing the full breadth of the cleaning and facility solutions industry, including manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, in-house service providers, building service contractors and residential cleaners.
ISSA Oceania Manager Lauren Micallef said that the expo was a chance for professionals to update themselves on a rapidly changing industry and ensure their business was keeping ahead of the game.
“We have scheduled an absolutely phenomenal roster of speakers for this year’s Expo,” Micallef said.
“The presentations and panels we have lined up for Sydney this September will provide attendees with the tools and solutions they need to advance their career development and further their organisation’s efficiency and profitability.”
This year’s education strand features panel discussions and breakout sessions from industry pioneers and key thought leaders. These experts will address the latest best practices, regulations and trends affecting the industry, taking in such topics as sustainability, artificial intelligence, indoor air quality, workforce development and training and more.
An exciting new addition to this year’s event is the complimentary breakfast—Women in Cleaning & Facility Solutions. Presented by the ISSA Hygieia Network, an ISSA Charities™ signature program dedicated to the advancement and retention of women in the cleaning and facility solutions industry, this event take place the morning of Thursday 12 September.
As part of the workshop, Australian politician Hon. Jodie Harrison MP (Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault) will share her inspiring career journey as a trailblazing business leader, politician and advocate.
The 2024 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo also features 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest in cutting-edge technology as they engage with top distributors, building service contractors and end users.
