Online registration is now open for visitors who wish to attend the inaugural technical conference and symposium held by The Cleaning Industry Research Institute International (CIRI) and the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
The event, which aims to promote ‘cutting-edge science’ and ‘industry standards,’ will be held 10 to 11 April 2016 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center on the campus of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA, said a press release.
‘Early Bird registration is available at a discounted price until 31 January 2016. Additionally, registration discounts are also available for IICRC-approved instructors and schools, Certified Firms and Master Status holders, as well as CIRI members and practitioners certified in the ISSA Clean Standard: K-12.’

As mentioned above, this first-of-its-kind conference will feature ‘cutting-edge presentations from leading scientists based on original research and reviews of existing research. There will also be lively panel presentations and discussions about new IICRC standards and the ISSA Clean Standards (K-12 & Institutional and Commercial).’
‘In addition, there will be presentations in the areas of cleaning and restoration science.’
According to the event’s press release, the conference aims ‘to help industry professionals grow their business and better serve their clients.’
This event will come about half a year after the IICRC and CIRI first teamed up in 2015 to a public trust to develop and disseminate cleaning and restoration science (read our coverage here).
