With the Group’s strong financial performance, RapidClean is capitalising on its improved position to maximise rebate returns and boost marketing.  Importantly, additional staff will be recruited in order that expansion can be nurtured and national account ambitions realised.

“At our May board meeting it was decided that we needed an additional staff member to enable us to grow and improve the service for members. This will allow me to spend less time on administration tasks and start the process of securing business and continue to build our membership,” explained RapidClean’s general manager Bruce Lees.

“The decision was taken to open an office in Sydney and Frankie Lee will continue to operate from Melbourne.

“The next stage in RapidClean’s development is to employ a national account manager. In order to maximise the benefits of being part of a national group we need to compete for national business. Of course we recognise that to employ a person is expensive and requires funding.

“Thus, the decision was taken at the recent Board meeting that we would fill this role when we add members in Melbourne and Sydney – allowing us to service the business we will secure,” Lees added.

RapidClean membership has grown to 30 with GTL RapidClean Central Coast and Action Packed joining the group in April and May respectively. Serious discussions are underway with other prospects in Sydney, Melbourne and North Queensland.

The RapidClean 2011 AGM and Conference will be held in Melbourne this year on 14 and 15 October at the Parkview Hotel on St Kilda Rd, Melbourne.

Marketing initiatives

The Group continues to build and refine its website that now features all of the RapidClean branded chemicals along with downloadable MSDS, product info sheets and risk assessments. All of the product wall charts and training manuals can also be downloaded.

In the growing machinery section, images are shown with downloadable brochures.

RapidClean’s television advertisement has been completed and the final, edited, version is close to fruition while the Group will be exhibiting at AUSCLEAN 2011 Convention, Jupiter’s, Gold Coast on 27 and 28 September.
