Australian-owned cleaning and presentation company, Quayclean Australia, has been awarded the cleaning and presentation contract to Adelaide Oval.

Adelaide Oval hosts up to 60 AFL, SANFL, Cricket and music events each year which attract around 1.8 million visitors. Under its fully-employed working model, Quayclean will employ more than 200 full-time, permanent part-time and casual labour personnel at Adelaide Oval.

Quayclean Australia CEO, Mark Piwkowski said the company is thrilled it has been awarded the contract to present the five-star venue for every event at the Oval to Quayclean.

“Our primary focus in this new partnership is to make Adelaide Oval look great, enhance the match-day experience for all patrons and introduce sustainable waste management practices.”

Piwkowski added the deal further demonstrates that major Australian venues are endorsing Quayclean’s industry-leading fully-employed service model, and its on-going goal to further reduce waste going to landfill.

“Our clients understand and respect the importance of top-quality site presentation and cleaning while developing systems, technologies and resources that optimise labour in the most efficient manner.”

Adelaide Oval joins the SCG and the Gabba as Quayclean’s Test cricket venues. Adelaide Oval will be a world centrepiece of next year’s ICC T20 World Cup after it secured seven men’s tournament matches.

Adelaide Oval’s AFL tenants, the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide, join St Kilda, Essendon, Western Bulldogs, North Melbourne Carlton (all Marvel Stadium tenants), Geelong, Sydney Swans and Brisbane Lions as Quayclean’s home team clients.

Quayclean also manages cleaning and presentation for the South Australian Jockey Club at Morphettville, the Adelaide Festival Trust Centre and the South Australian Aquatic Centre.

Quayclean is one of the largest independent operators across the country, servicing  more than 90 major public venues across Australia and directly employs more than 1200 full-time, permanent part-time and casual labour personnel.
