Tennant Company’s Orbio 5000-Sc with Orbio Split Stream technology has won top honours in the just announced Australian Business Awards product innovation category. ‘The award specifically recognises Tennant’s research and development achievements in sustainable cleaning technologies,’ stated Tennant.
The Orbio 5000-Sc uses tap water, a small amount of salt and electricity to create an effective, multi-surface cleaning solution for use in floor scrubbers, carpet extractors and spray and wipe applications. It ‘has been heralded by cleaning professionals as a breakthrough that will change the world of professional cleaning because of the significant environmental, health, safety and cost benefits it delivers.’
“We are pleased to accept this award that recognises our ability to deliver industry-changing, environmentally-friendly cleaning solutions for our customers,” said Andrea Haack, marketing manager, Tennant Australia.
“The development of the Orbio 5000-Sc clearly validates Tennant’s position as an innovation leader and reinforces our commitment to being a global leader in water-based and other sustainable cleaning technologies,” she added.
Congratulating Tennant Australia, Tara Johnston, program director, The Australian Business Awards, said: “These types of accolades don’t come easily – they are underpinned by vision and leadership, both of which require a clear dedication to research and development.
“Despite a challenging business environment locally and abroad, this year’s participants in The Australian Business Awards remain steadfast in their commitment to innovation and excellence,” Johnston emphasised.
