There is only one week left until Europe’s largest event for the professional cleaning sector, ISSA/INTERCLEAN, kicks off in Amsterdam on 10 May 2016.

With over 800 exhibitors showcasing their products, show organisers have promised the biggest ISSA/INTERCLEAN yet. New features will also be readily available, such as free Wi-Fi and the ISSA/INTERCLEAN app.

“The new ISSA/INTERCLEAN app offers another opportunity for exhibitors and visitors to connect at the show,” said ISSA/INTERCLEAN manager Rob den Hertog.

“In the app, exhibitors showcase their new products and provide company information. It makes it easier than ever match visitors and exhibitors.”

ISSA will also be organising a comprehensive educational seminar program that will run from 10 May to 11 May. All seminar sessions are free to attend and will include topics such as ‘opportunities created by the circular economy, how to make the most of advances in data gathering, adapting to changes in the industry supply chain and growing profitability against a background of downward cost pressures’.

‘Other sessions will look at the benefits of leasing rather than purchasing equipment and how quality cleaning improves safety while lowering risk and cost’.

The InnovationLab will feature at the 2016 event for the first time and showcase infrastructure products and software tools nominated for the Amsterdam Innovation Award 2016. It will also host seminars, workshops, debates and presentations.

In the robotics arena, experts and exhibitors will explain ‘how robotics solutions actually work; what are optimal locations for the use of robots and how interested visitors can prepare their organisation for robots so they add maximum value to the everyday cleaning operations’.

The 2016 ISSA/INTERCLEAN will also play host to 45 companies from the Spanish cleaning and hygiene sector; the highest number of Spanish participants ever.

To help visitors plan their visit, there will be dedicated areas on the exhibition floor, which include steam cleaning; washroom; high pressure; laundry; management and mobility solutions and the outdoor demo show.

‘ISSA/INTERCLEAN opens from 10 am to 5 pm on 10 to 12 May, and from 10 am to 4 pm on 13 May.’
