Nominations are now open for the Building Service Contractors Association of Australia (BSCAA) Queensland 2018 AustralianSuper Excellence Awards.
The AustralianSuper Excellence Awards are designed to acknowledge the outstanding contribution and achievements of employers and employees in contract cleaning and security and showcase individuals and employee focused companies.
“The BSCAA Excellence Awards have been running for many years and have become one of the most prestigious and influential in the building services industry,” BSCAA Queensland president Kim Puxty said.
More than 20 awards will be presented this year across eight categories. This year also sees the introduction of two new awards; Most Valuable Cleaning Team – Cleaning Industry South East Queensland and Most Valuable Cleaning Team – Cleaning Industry Regional.

- Outstanding Individual Employee – Cleaning Industry South East Queensland
- Outstanding Individual Employee – Cleaning Industry Regional
- Outstanding Individual Employee – Security Industry
- Outstanding Support Personnel in the Industry – Cleaning Industry 0 – 50 Employees
- Outstanding Support Personnel in the Industry – Cleaning Industry 51+ Employees
- Outstanding Support Personnel in the Security Industry
Manager awards (individual):
- Manager Award – Cleaning Industry
- Operations Manager Award – Cleaning Industry
- Leading Hand/Supervisor Award – Cleaning Industry
- Manager Award – Security industry
Most valuable cleaning team awards:
- Most Valuable Cleaning Team – Cleaning Industry South East Queensland
- Most Valuable Cleaning Team – Cleaning Industry Regional
Company awards:
- Outstanding Owner/Operator in the Cleaning Industry 0-10 employees
- Outstanding Owner/Operator in the Security Industry 0-10 employees
- Outstanding Company in the Cleaning Industry
- Outstanding Company in the Security Industry – Qld
Environmental sustainability awards:
- ecoClean Excellence Award – Company
- ecoClean Excellence Award – Individual
Innovation award
- Recognition of an Outstanding Innovator
Long service award
- Recognition of Service – Outstanding Individual Contribution to the Industry
Supplier award
- Recognition of an Outstanding Industry Supplier
The deadline for submissions is Friday 19 October 2018.
