Nilfisk has announced the acquisition of Smithson Equipment, a Queensland-based cleaning equipment distributor located in the Brisbane suburb of Tingalpa, in a 1 May press release.
Smithson Equipment offers sales, service and hire of new and used cleaning equipment – specialising in industrial sweepers, scrubbers, pressure cleaners and vacuums.
‘The acquisition combines the strengths of Nilfisk and Smithson Equipment, by leveraging Nilfisk’s global network and resources and Smithson Equipment’s local industry expertise to deliver on cleaning equipment, parts and service to customer,’ stated the release. ‘Nilfisk will continue to provide quality Nilfisk equipment to customers as well as continue to provide a service offering on all brands of cleaning equipment.’
