New look for GBCA and Green Star

New corporate branding unveiled for Green Building Council of Australia and Green Star.

New corporate branding has been unveiled for the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and Green Star.

Davina Rooney, CEO of GBAC, said the new brands pays homage to the organisation’s leadership over the last 18 years, but takes on a more contemporary look to continue supporting our vision to build a more sustainable future.

“We are proud to reveal the new branding that will support all our activities, and meet the needs of our members to showcase their achievements,” Rooney said.

“Despite the challenging times we find ourselves in, the commitment to realise a more sustainable future is stronger than ever.”

This year GBCA will release the first of its revamped Green Star tools under its Future Focus program and later this month will release a draft standard for Green Star Homes.

“With the continuing world leadership demonstrated by our members, and our own evolution to meet their ambition, we are pleased that our new logos reflect the significant step change that Green Star, and GBCA is undergoing,” Rooney said.

“We’ve developed bold, distinctive logos that communicate our brands, stay true to our roots, while adding a more contemporary tone.

“A clear evolution that respects our legacy, both the corporate and Green Star logos represent our commitment to a more sustainable future through cooperation and inspiration.”
