Mumbai’s integrated international cleaning event caters to multiple segments

The highlight of Cleaning Technology Week will be five concurrent Expos (21 to 23 January): Clean India Pulire; Car Care Expo; IFS Expo; Waste Technology India Expo and Laundrex India. Together, they are expected to draw in more than 15,000 business visitors.

Cleaning industry professionals from sectors like healthcare, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, government, and transport will attend the event.

‘It is significant that over 400 national and international cleaning products/systems will be on showcased,’ states Virtual Info Systems.

With six months to go, Clean India Pulire show is almost sold out. It will comprise more than 200 exhibitors from 20 countries; some 100 new launches; live demonstrations; exclusive buyer-seller meets; and distributor-franchisee partner networking.

CTW begins with roadshows on 17, 18 and 19 January in different Indian cities. There will be live demonstrations of mechanised cleaning and implementation of hygiene solutions at strategic locations including malls, schools, hospitals and public places.

The road shows will involve NGOs, government departments and the cleaning industry.

Working towards involving those down at the cleaning industry’s grassroots level, the Clean India Challenge will hold competitions for cleaning associates from the facility service companies. Teams from across India will compete at various levels and shortlisted teams will take ‘the hot seat’ in the Grand Finale Quiz Contest on 21 January at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.

Winners of the 2nd Clean India Awards will be announced on 22 January at a gala ceremony in Mumbai. Nominations for the award categories will open on 22 July.
