Millennium announces resignation of CEO

Millennium board announces CEO will leave the company at the end of March.

The board of Millennium has announced that CEO Scott Alomes has tendered his resignation and will be leaving the company at the end of March.

In a statement, Millennium said Alomes was recruited almost 12 months ago to “lead the continued stabiliation of the business, develop a fully integrated strategy based on compliance, good governance, growth and cost containment, ensure various projects were delivered, initiate necessary policy and procedural infrastructure especially in compliance, update and refine a variety of operational procedures and undertake a critical cost review.”

“These, amongst other matters, have been achieved and Mr Alomes is keen to move onto his next challenge,” the company stated.

Royce Galea, one of the founders of the business, has been appointed interim CEO and managing director.

Millennium provides property services including cleaning, security, and maintenance across Australia and New Zealand.

In December 2021, Millennium announced it had acquired 49 per cent of Codee Cleaning Services based in Perth, Western Australia.

Codee is an Indigenous-owned business and continues to be majority owned, managed, and controlled as an Indigenous enterprise by Craig Grainger.
