Bluestone Recruitment has appointed Marian Stratford as its national business development manager for its hospitality division. In her that role she will be responsible for attracting clients to Bluestone Recruitment as well as manage relationships with the company’s valued hospitality clients.
‘Marian was the perfect fit for the newly formed role, having already celebrated 20 years in the hospitality industry with 16 years’ experience managing housekeeping departments of major hotel brands, both in house and via outsourced contracts,’ said the official announcement.
‘Marian’s passion and involvement in the hospitality industry goes far beyond the workplace,’ it added.
Stratford is the Professional Executive Housekeeper’s Network’s president, an organisation that shares a close relationship with other similar industry bodies across Australia.
‘This new position was highlighted to Marian after having worked for Crown Casino Melbourne via Bluestone Recruitment for nine years in varied roles, more recently as quality assurance manager.
‘Marian was selected to head up the expanding hospitality division from a national perspective due to her great working relationships with those around her, her experience in fulfilling contract key performance indicators and her experience in quality control, all of which are imperative attributes for the new role,’ explained the announcement.
According to Stratford, she was drawn to the position having already experienced Bluestone Recruitment’s drive to provide its hospitality clients with a premium service.
“My main reason for joining Bluestone Recruitment was their attention to detail to make sure we get the best result for our valued clients, their great focus on customer service and showing appreciation and care for their team members,” she said.
