Leading the Charge in Cordless!

Makita continues to lead the charge in cordless technology providing more solutions for more industries & applications than any other brand.

Exciting times are ahead for Makita with our 18Vx2 Brushless Upright Vacuum due to hit the market in Q3 2020. The DVC560 will be the first Cordless Upright Vacuum to provide both a rotating power brush for deep carpet cleaning & a detachable hand-wand for detail cleaning with the onboard accessories.

Standard accessories include a HEPA Filter, 5L Reusable Dust Bag plus Crevice Nozzle & Round Brush for use with the hand wand. The 18Vx2 brushless motor will provide a Max airflow rate of 30L/s with a continuous runtime of 30 minutes on Max suction. The floor brush is easily removable for maintenance without the need for any tools as well as operating with a 4-stage height adjustment for different carpet types.

Running off 2x 18V LXT Makita batteries, the DVC560 is fully compatible with Makita’s existing range of Commercial Cleaning equipment. A growing range that includes Cordless 2L & 6L Backpack Vacuums, Market leading Stick Vacuums & a range of 18V & 18Vx2 Blowers which are genuine petrol replacements without the need for fuel or ongoing engine maintenance.

Makita’s LXT products are backed by the smartest Battery & Charging system on the market. Our 18V Dual Port Same Time Rapid Charger provides a market leading charge time of 55 minutes for one set of 6.0Ah batteries. Makita’s “Active 3” control system prevents damage to the batteries & motors by providing an automatic cut off due to over draw of current and over discharge as well as providing a thermal cut off when the battery or motor become too hot.

Makita’s vision is to provide consumers with a genuine cordless solution for all applications. Which means no cords, no fuel & greater efficiency.
