According to a press release issued by Jena Dyco International, the carpet and upholstery restoration training company is bringing Ruth Travis out to Australia to hold the Clean Trust (formerly the IICRC) four-day rug cleaning course.

The course will take place at Jena Dyco’s specialised training venue in Melbourne from 18 to 21 April 2012.

The specialised rug cleaning course will teach attendees ‘all the technical skills of rug cleaning and show them how to set up their own rug cleaning facility. Jam packed with hands-on experience, attendees will walk away from this course with the knowledge and skills to set up their own successful rug cleaning business.’

The course will be instructed by Ruth Travis – or the ‘rug lady’ as she is said to be known in the industry. Jena Dyco director Jenny Boymal said that she is really excited to be bringing Travis over from the United States to take the course.

“Ruth runs a booming rug cleaning facility in the US, and we’re so excited that she is coming to Australia to share her expertise with everyone,” said Boymal. “Her wealth of knowledge not only covers the technical skills of setting up a rug cleaning facility and doing the work, but also extends to specific marketing skills.”

According to the press release, Dusty Roberts will also be coming out from the US to assist the teaching of the course and to demonstrate the ‘rug badger’.

This will be the third time that Jena Dyco has hosted a Clean Trust (IICRC) rug cleaning course in Australia.
