ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo welcomes Makita as platinum sponsor

"The platinum sponsorship is an opportunity for Makita to showcase it is genuine about its commitment to the commercial cleaning industry."

The ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo has welcomed Makita as the event’s platinum sponsor for 2020.

Now in its fourth year, the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo will be held the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney on Wednesday 26 August and Thursday, 27 August 2020.

Hosted by ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo is the industry’s leading trade event.

“Makita have been a supporter of the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo and exhibitor since its launch to market three years ago,” Lauren Micallef, ISSA Oceania manager said.

“We are excited to announce that they they will be returning as an exhibitor as well as the platinum sponsor for the 2020 show at the ICC Sydney. We appreciate their continual support and commitment to the industry.”

Greg Hill, product manager, Makita Australia, said platinum sponsorship is an opportunity for Makita to showcase it is genuine about its commitment to the commercial cleaning industry.

“Makita is completely focused on providing the market with cordless solutions across a wide range of applications,” Hill said.

“We have achieved some great results so far from last year’s show and there are still more continuing to evolve. Last year’s attendance was great as it allowed us to show our existing customers our latest and greatest products suited to their market.

“It also allowed us to provide potential customers with information on how Makita’s cordless commercial cleaning equipment can help contribute to their business in a positive and sustainable way.

Hill said attendees can expect to see another “hands on” stand from Makita.

“We are hopeful of having some new unreleased products to show, along with running several strong promotions on our existing products for attendees who come and visit the stand.”

This year the expo is co-located with Safety in Action, Australia’s leading workplace health and safety show.

Safety in Action is comprised of a large scale exhibition, free seminars, free small-group consultations and three co-located premium conferences exploring safety, wellness and the return to work of injured employees.
