ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo to co-locate with AWRE

The co-location is set to significantly enhance Australia’s only dedicated cleaning and hygiene event.

The ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo will be co-locating with the Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo (AWRE) in 2018.

The ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo, presented by ISSA and Interpoint Events, and AWRE, presented by Diversified Communications Australia, will be held 29 to 30 August at the ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour.

The co-location is set to significantly enhance Australia’s only dedicated cleaning and hygiene event, which will be supported by its corporate and marketing media partner INCLEAN magazine.

“We are thrilled to announce ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo’s co-location with AWRE in 2018,” said Interpoint managing director, Simon Cooper.

“Having a highly respected industry expo co-locate with us opens up new opportunities for all attendees of this year’s ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo. There is, increasingly, genuine educational synergy between key sectors such as cleaning, waste and recycling.”

Capitalising on both its international and local resources, ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo will deliver an exceptional program of commercial cleaning and hygiene technology and education. Not only will this cleaning expo present the very latest technology and offer an array of co-located conference and workshop streams.

In 2018, the Specialised Restoration & Cleaning Professionals, (SRCP), a division of ISSA, will feature a special Carpet and Restoration Wing where attendees can see restoration and remediation equipment being demonstrated first hand, and participate in in-depth education sessions.

The exhibition and education program will also be complemented with industry networking and social opportunities and the respected INCLEAN Innovation Awards.

The partnership will see ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo attendees have access to innovative products and sustainable solutions to collect, process and recycle waste across machinery and equipment, vehicles, eWaste, food, organics and more.

Visitors can also attend the free AWRE speaker series which covers trends, developments, strategies and policies which are shaping Australasia’s waste and recycling industry.

Andrew Lawson, event manager, AWRE said the co-location with ISSA is a natural fit and will enhance the visitor experience.

“The co-location is a natural fit for AWRE as many of our visitors seek complete environmental solutions across cleaning, waste management and resource recovery. The additional education and innovation that our visitors can access through the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo will enhance their experience and provide solutions to maintain businesses and municipalities in a safe and environmentally sustainable way.”

In turn, AWRE attendees will have access to ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo, which is set to bring together industry professionals from both Australia and overseas. AWRE attendees will also have access to the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo’s seminars, workshops and networking events.
