ISS Australia has extended its security contract with Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) for a further three years, continuing its 20-year partnership.

ISS will build on its existing scope of security screening at BAC’s domestic and international terminals, mobile patrols and active surveillance services.

A key focus for ISS at Brisbane Airport over the next three years is investing in  technology platforms, including a new integrated mobile digital platform to support security supervisors with operational decision-making.

Jonathan Reeves, executive general manager – aviation and transport, ISS Australia, said: “I’m delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with Brisbane Airport. As security providers at the airport, we need to be both a safe pair of hands today at the same time as being forward thinking to ensure our security service meets the needs and threats of tomorrow. I am confident ISS will deliver on these priorities to protect all passengers, visitors and staff at Brisbane Airport.”

ISS serves 14 out of the 30 busiest airports across the world, including four of the 10 busiest Australian airports, where it screens more than 44 million passengers and 374 thousand flights a year.

ISS also serves 26 out of 30 largest airlines in the world. In addition to security, ISS delivers a range of facility services to the aviation industry, including food, cleaning, technical and support services as well as facilities management.
