The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has ranked leading global facility service provider ISS as number one on its annual list of the world’s best outsourcing service providers – The Global Outsourcing 100.
“We are very proud and deeply honoured that IAOP has recognised ISS as the world’s best outsourcing company,” said Jeff Gravenhorst, ISS Group CEO. “We take the ranking as a vote of confidence in ISS and our global platform from which we integrate and self-deliver a complete set of facility services such as catering, cleaning, security, property and support services across the globe.”
“I would also like to thank our 534,200 employees around the world. Without their deep engagement and all the purpose and pride they put into their daily efforts to service our customers, we would never have achieved this honourable title,” noted Gravenhorst.
ISS is one of the largest facility services companies in Australia with turnover approaching AUD$1 billion and employing more than 12,000 staff directly. ISS Australia is the fourth largest region for the ISS Group globally and while ISS has been on the Global Outsourcing 100 list for the last few years, ranking second in 2011, this is the first time it has achieved the top position.
Jag Dalal, managing director of Thought Leadership, IAOP and chairman of the judges’ panel also made comment. “As applicants continually raise the bar and as the outsourcing industry continues to grow and mature in many markets, competition is tougher,” he remarked. “Being named to The Global Outsourcing 100 is a great achievement, particularly given the strong competition, and we are proud to recognise ISS for their excellence.”
“As 2013 begins to see moderate growth in the economy, choosing the right outsourcing partners will be more important than ever,” said IAOP chairman Michael Corbett. “The Global Outsourcing 100 and the World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors lists help companies easily identify partners that will help them emerge as leaders.”
