ISS Australia recognised for support of the disadvantaged

ISS Australia has won the Sarina Russo Award for 'National Employer of the Year 2014', acknowledging ISS' support for unemployed and disadvantaged Australians.

ISS_SarinaRusso_Industry_webISS Australia has won the Sarina Russo Award for ‘National Employer of the Year 2014′, acknowledging ISS’ support for unemployed and disadvantaged Australians.

The Sarina Awards were held recently at the Hilton Brisbane with more than 25 companies present at the ceremony.

The Sarina Russo Group (SRG) is an industry leader in education, training, recruitment and job creation. ISS works closely with Sarina Russo Job Access in Australia.

SRG has operated since the start of Job Network in 1998, supporting 195,000 jobseekers and working with more than 70,000 employers over the past five years. In particular, ISS has worked with SRG to assist the long-term unemployed.

‘ISS Australia has received this award in recognition of ISS’ commitment in finding suitable positions for many of their candidates in 2014. ISS placed the most candidates of any employer in Australia with over 75 placements,’ noted the ISS press release.

The award was presented to ISS by Sarina Russo, founder and president of the Serina Russo Group, who commented, “By ISS providing opportunities like this it does not only change one person’s life but provides new beginnings for their whole family.”
