Educational seminars and workshops brought high quality traffic

A partnership with global organisation Pulire enhanced Ausclean PULIRE 2013’s international flavour both on the exhibition floor and in workshops and seminars. As well as European and North American cleaning and hygiene industry visitors, many New Zealand executives were in attendance.

Ausclean PULIRE 2013, sponsored by Hako Australia, was held at Rosehill Gardens (Sydney) on 15 and 16 October with some 1,000 end-user and distributor industry executives attending the event.

“The dedicated cleaning and hygiene event concept worked very well and we had positive feedback from exhibitors as well as the many seminar and workshop delegates,” stated Interpoint managing director Simon Cooper. “An industry lives and dies on training and education and Ausclean PULIRE 2013 delivered them in spades,” he added.

Ausclean PULIRE is now well at home in the international PULIRE family of events. “I believe this inaugural Ausclean PULIRE sets the platform for further growth in terms of exhibitors and visitors,” noted Milan-based Pulire chief executive Toni D’Andrea. “This Australian edition delivered one of the highest quality conference programs I have experienced,” he added.

The true ‘industry event’ concept encouraged the use of Ausclean Pulire as a meeting point and the locale was ideal.

As with previous Auscleans, organisations including WoolSafe, Individual Cleaners Association Australia and New Zealand (ICAN), Jena-Dyco, the Building Service Contractors’ Association of Australia (BSCAA),  and the Specialised Cleaning and Restoration Industry Association (SCRIA) conducted their own workshops and meetings.

It was pleasing to see the Professional Housekeepers Association of New South Wales (PHAN) also arrange for members to travel as a group to Ausclean PULIRE 2013.

On the supply side many executives made the trek down under to Australia’s only dedicated cleaning and hygiene industry event.
