The ISSA/Interclean 2012 organisers have reported that there will be more than 135 first-time exhibitors out of the 650-plus companies participating. In line with 2011’s Pulire and ISSA North America event experiences, this reinforces the message that cleaning and hygiene is genuinely a recession-proof, growth industry.
ISSA/Interlcean Amsterdam 2012 will feature exhibitors from more than 40 countries, displaying their products and solutions on an area of about 50,000 sq m at the RAI Convention Centre.
‘Visitors can get ready for the largest sector overview of innovations, network gatherings and learning opportunities. There will also be a large outdoor area for outdoor cleaning, high pressure and window cleaning with live demonstrations.
‘The dedicated area for Sanitary Hygiene, Washroom, (has been) expanded to cover around 8000 sq m in Halls 10 -11, featuring 130 plus exhibitors,’ stated the organisers.
During the event hundreds of products will be revealed, many of them competing for the prestigious Amsterdam Innovation Award. A total of 71 innovations have been received for 2012’s competition.
This year a visitors’ choice award, where all pre-registered visitors have an opportunity to vote their favourite nominated product, has been created. Winners of the individual categories (including the visitor’s choice) and the overall winner will be announced during the opening ceremony on 8 May.
A new products list and the description can be found on the website www.issainterclean.com/amsterdamen/innovations-awards/Pages/New-products.aspx
The most innovative products will be used in the regular daily cleaning of the halls, toilets and outside premises. Visitors will see trained professionals working with the machines, products and solutions real- time. Many exhibitors will contribute by providing their most innovative equipment
Entry to ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam is free to pre-registered trade visitors and there is gratis rail transport between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam.
The event will be held in the RAI Convention Centre from Tuesday 8 May to Friday 11 May. It will be opened from 10.00 to 17.00 on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 10.00 to 16.00 on the Friday.
