Markus Haefeli has been appointed managing director for Nilfisk Australia and New Zealand, leaving his previous role with Karcher and replacing Jim Athanas.
Based at the company’s Blacktown headquarters in Sydney, Haefeli is responsible for both commercial and domestic businesses and will lead Nilfisk during its next phase of growth, states the company.
‘Haefeli brings with him a wealth of experience from his time in the industrial sector, as well as a sound knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand markets,’ states a Nilfisk press release. ‘He has a proven record of delivering superior sales results in environments with lengthy and complex sales cycles.
‘Haefeli is excited to assume the responsibility as managing director and is looking forward to driving the company into sustainable growth through a strong customer focus and excellent after sales service.’
