After 38 years as a respected senior building service contractor executive, Mark Helps has ‘jumped the fence’ and become a cleaning industry consultant. His new business – no surprises – is called Consultancy Helps.
Helps commented that he decided to do this after much encouragement from colleagues and friends as well as give something back to an industry that has been so much a part of his life.
“I believe my management skills and experience, coupled with contemporary knowledge of the commercial cleaning industry, will be of benefit to building owners and managers – either in managing existing contracts and contractors, or in the preparation of specifications and contract documents to go to tender,” Helps said.
“One of the most significant differences is that Consultancy Helps is also looking to assist small to medium size commercial contract cleaning companies wishing to advance their businesses but possibly cannot afford the services of a full time professional,” he added.
Helps has assembled a highly experienced team around him consisting of Ivan Ashby, Ron Hayward, Margie Beltrano and Lori Boys.
