The entry deadline has been extended for the 2024 ISSA Excellence Awards, which will showcase the Australian commercial cleaning industry’s most innovative and progressive products and services.
Open to all exhibiting companies, the awards’s deadline for entrants is now Friday 16 August.
The ISSA Excellence Awards honour cleaning and facility solutions products for their improved performance, productivity, safety or sustainability. The winners will be announced at the 2024 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo, which takes place 11-12 September 2024 at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney).
This year’s program has been expanded to spotlight products in eight categories:
- Innovation Equipment – Large
- Innovation Equipment – Small
- Innovation Janitorial
- Innovation Cleaning Agents
- Innovation Paper and Dispensing
- Innovation Service and Technology
- Environmental Awareness & Sustainability (NEW)
- People’s Choice (NEW)
Nominated products and services should be commercially available in the Australian marketplace and comply with all relevant Australian standards and safety requirements.

All finalists will have the opportunity to display their product at the Innovation Zone at the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo. The finalists will also be in the running to win the People’s Choice Award, voted by the expo attendees.
The two-day expo is the premier event for cleaning and facilities solutions and will bring together leading experts, innovators and cleaning professionals.
