With its acquisition of InterVac Australia, Edco is significantly enhancing its brand portfolio as well as entering the cleaning machine segment. The official acquisition date is 1 October 2015.

“We see the products distributed by InterVac being a great addition to the Edco range. The brands include Numatic, Kaivac, Cilmas, Tecnica and Primaster Combi 2 In One,” noted Edco’s national sales manager Stephen Waddingham.

“These brands and their products will now form part of the Edco range that includes Sorbo window cleaning products, ETC floor pads from the USA and the entire Edco branded range of janitorial products.”

Edco says current InterVac distributors will not see any major changes other than the name on the invoice. The current distributor arrangements will remain in place.

“To those who are new to the Edco range we say welcome, and welcome to one of the largest privately-owned suppliers of cleaning and janitorial products in the country,” said Waddingham.

“Your current Edco sales representative will be your point of contact for product enquires and we will be appointing Noel Truasheim as Queensland manager while Chris Van Graan will take over as national technical support and sales.

“This major addition to the Edco range will once again keep Edco at the forefront of supply to the industry and is already been applauded by national and international customers.”
