Whiteley Marketing in INCLEAN magazineContract cleaner Elynwood Pty Ltd has done its homework for the Partnerships Victoria: Victorian Schools Project. This initiative is designed to provide better services to maintain 11 new government schools located in Melbourne’s north, west, and south as part of a long term plan to improve and expand Victoria’s public infrastructure.

In consultation with Elynwood, the introduction of Whiteley Corporation’s EarthSmart environmental cleaning products into these school sites is a notable initiative.

Elynwood business development manager Will Grigg stated that, “After considerable research into genuine environmental products over several years and discussions with numerous chemical manufacturers, Elynwood is proud to partner with Whiteley Corporation to provide its clients with EarthSmart scientifically proven, readily biodegradable cleaning products.”

Selected because they are effective in their application and adhere to the Victorian Government sustainability requirements criteria, the EarthSmart range has now been implemented into UGL sites including Stage 2 PPP schools and all YMCA sites.

‘EarthSmart environmental cleaning products are fast being recognised as one of the most innovative environmental cleaning ranges in the market today,’ said the marketer.

‘This range is the result of three years’ scientific research and development to create an environmental range that is AS4351 readily biodegradable as full formula-concentrated products.’

Whiteley Corporation’s marketing manager Xanthe Mendoza believes that educating consumers has been vital for the EarthSmart range’s launch because the market is saturated with unverified green claims and misleading statements.

“Consumers need to be made aware of correct environmental credentials when making green purchase decisions and understand why it is so important to ‘go green’. In such an unregulated market it is crucial that consumers seek products that meet the current Australian standards. You simply can’t buy that certification; you have to pass the science,” Mendoza emphasised.
